Training

The PEHSU offers an ideal environment for learning in Pediatric Environmental Health for professionals from various health fields, both pediatricians and nurses as well as pediatrics residents.

​The General Sub-Directorate of Organization and Professional Development (DGOPRS) of the Department of Health authorizes the PEHSU to carry out training in environmental pediatrics for pediatric residents.

MODALITATS
Visit
Usually one day or short stays (less than 1-2 weeks).
We recommend doing them in the context of training in the SMAP Basic Training Course.
You will need to send an email with the request and a motivation letter to pehsu@hospiolot.cat.
External rotations
Usually one month, but extendable to longer stays.
Residents through their pediatric teaching units can request external rotations by contacting PEHSU (pehsu@hospiolot.cat) with a letter of motivation and date preference. Once approved, the DGOPRS must be notified (rotacionsexternes.dgoprs@gencat.cat).
